Millicent - OUIMILLIE MAMA CEO & Founder
Her Style:
Millicent started the company in 2015, while Ouimillie has shifted from primarily home goods to clothing, her style is at the core of the company. Millicent loves ANY and ALL things ‘80s, but to get dressed daily she usually picks one exceptional piece to inspire her and keeps building until she has a look (which will, without fail include something sparkly, metallic, or shiny).
Millicent's Picks:
The Bellerose Harmony Jumpsuit is her holiday dinner go-to with it’s loose fit, pockets, velvet fabric, and endless styling possibilities. She pairs that more minimal jumpsuit with the Sour Earrings, taking full advantage of gold and punchy colors. She is the first to admit that she has a home good OBSESSION -- the latest of which is the hidden vase by Valerie Objects which she is ready to artfully layer with flowers and branches on her dining table. For the winter, she has been eyeing the Vermont Coat with takes on trench coat in the most relevant color not to mention boiled wool and drop shoulders and may or may not have already taken Dauphinette’s Stamps Ina Bag for a touch of whimsy.
Sarah - Marketing & Inventory Ninja
Her Style:
Sarah has been at Ouimillie for over 3 years. She gravitates toward pieces that are gender neutral. Her clothes often have menswear touches, grunge touches, primary colors, and proportion play. She loves outfits that showcase strength without appealing to sexuality.
Her Picks:
First: the Bellerose Dernie Sweater which she loves for its soft feel, mock neck, and sweatshirt vibe when worn 1 or 2 sizes up from her normal fit. She can't stop thinking about the Irolo Pants with their intense front pleating, contrast cuff, and elastic waistband with the Dauphinette Bon Bon Bracelet Bag clipped to the belt loop for a little bling. She swears the Irolos are “Most comfortable denim I have ever put on. EVER.” She is coveting the Iceberg Sweater for its full embrace of primary tones. Lastly, she is on her 3rd Wit and Delight Notebook –used for keeping track of all Ouimillie tasks.
Annie - Charles Street Shop Keep Extraordinaire!
Annie RUNS the brick and mortar retail experience. She sports blazers with everything and loves boyish trousers with oversized button downs. Annie never ceases to add in a few statement earrings and a bag for an effeminate touch.
Her picks:
She is so encapsulated with the Dreamscape Dress because the cut is so timelessly elegant, but the pattern and crepe fabric give it this intriguing depth. I love the Soup Dumpling Bag with it’s pink body and red bottom, a great contrast! Two of her other favorite pink accessories include An_Erin’s Ripstop Mask because you are able to breathe well and Bellerose’s Fast Socks made of thick cotton! On the colder days, Annie loves nothing more than a chunky Maria Sweater by Notes du Nord because its long cuffs and contrast ribbing make it look dressy while feeling toasty.
Sadie - Sales and the MOST Pragmatic Film Student
Her Style:
Sadie's California roots show with relaxed, simple silhouettes and somewhat sporty attire everyday. However, Sadie finds herself falling for all things Danish which means a growing adoration for bright colors and quirky femininity.
Sadie’s picks include the Bellerose Vedder Blazer which she loves for it’s slouchy, bomber-like fit, bright colors, and warm wool fabric. She loves the Stine Goya Roman Pants for “THE POCKETS ARE SO BIG” and the thick mod belt and the James Shirt in floral which gives her happy whimsical Dr. Suess vibes all in an overstated button down. For gifts this season, Sadie is nabbing Dauphinette Flower Earrings (Daisy & Rose) that she will mix and match depending on the personalities of her friends.
Isabelle - Sales, Perfume Obsessed Vintage Clothing Collector
Her Style:
Her style is always evolving and changing, dependent on little niches she comes across, but there undoubtedly is an element of vintage in every outfit. From vintage surf t-shirts, to 1930’s feminine slips, I always like to add a contrast so maybe heels with shirts and boots with dresses for example. "It's masculine, feminine, me!"
Her Picks:
During the holidays (all year round) she huge socks with sandals and heels gal, since it is the easiest thing to add an edge and stylist moment, so she would sport Bellerose Farlen Socks in cream with some robins egg pumps and a dress like the Bellerose Acryl Dress in Leopard-- call Christmas Eve done! There is something so chic about sleeveless turtlenecks because they are contradicting the other, so she is seriously coveting Bellerose Dation Sleeveless Sweater. The Bellerose Rosie Leather Fannypack is “ just damn cool, girl” it's her favorite color at the moment. The Bellerose Hayay Coat is understated and also in the same vein of the fanny pack because of its minimal and strikingly fabulous neckline rivaling the most fashionable sleeping bag!
Anna - Intern, Business Student, Patch-working Talent!
Since she expresses her emotions for the day through fashion she melds vintage and contemporary garments with unexpected colors together, even sporting some of her own hand-made patchwork. Anna prioritizes comfort and confidence, even if it doesn’t follow trends or gender norms.
Her Picks:
Stine Goya Verita socks because they are so cute with a pair of loafers, sneakers or boots. She is so impressed with the wrap around city pattern that both the socks and the Stine Goya Idun Bag feature. Another one of my favorite pieces right now is the Stine Goya Anders Knit for its perfect oversized fit and beautiful texture for the winter months. This piece pairs perfectly with quilted Helmstedt Chocolate Pants with the flair pant. Anna would top off every outfit with one of Dauphinette’s Daisy Necklaces which are so sweet.
