Wondering what the new brands are at Ouimillie during this wonderful warm season??? We currently have 9 new brands this year! Whooooop! The newest brands that recently that have landed with us are:
by Malene Birger: A real lady’s brand out of Copenhagen. Expect clean lines, slightly edgy a bit of a Rachel Comey via Denmark :)
De Loreta: A Colombian brand (cha cha cha), and when you wear De Loreta, the Cha Cha is exactly what you will want to do! Think pieces you travel with and blow the minds of everyone near you yet being extremely comfortable.
Floriane Fosso: Simply our love. Sustainable and preserving that uber chic French look.
Samsoe Samsoe: During Copenhagen Fashion Week and a showroom appointment, our wonderful shop manager on Charles Street and assistant buyer, Annie Madden, met with the team and it was love at first sight. . . boom they are now a forever Ouimillie brand. Deets? They are an easy peasy brand with just the right amount of flare at a fab price point. For example, the Ivana dress blew out the door, so sorry if you didn’t catch it. We still have on super easy but a bit sexy, Cille Dress with one size left in a midnight blue, the large is ready to be claimed!
Summi Summi: Yet another brand with a play on the double name, but with no similarity to Samsoe Samsoe. This Australian beauty takes on the ease of dressing with a little shine on comfort and that beyond beachy eclectic vibe. Check out their basic ribbed cotton tops and dresses, layer them or stand out with the sweet colorways of this season.
And that’s not all! There is so much more fun :) Spring/Summer is hot hot hot.
Giu Giu: For starters, they are the queen of LA knitwear and (Hello!) her grandmother was one of the initiators in the design collaborative that launched in Cambridge, MA during the 70s. It was the first ever full modern shopping concept experience, born through the idea of In Situ - brought to the world by many Harvard Design peeps. Under Giu Giu’s grandmother, she founded the super stretchy rib mock neck knit to wear under all your fashion forward pieces (screams the 70s) or alone as the super twiggy look! Giu Gui has put into place the reproduction of this iconic style. We are all so lucky this is now part of her Always Available pieces to honor the design of her grandmother. Claim your Giu Giu pieces!
Chelsea Mak: Imagine a super fun girl from the 80’s who never subscribed to that Limited Co. idea. She has explored all the fab fabrics of the time like silk and satin with wide silhouettes with just the right amount of darting to the pieces. Oui love this line for occasions and days of loving yourself.
Cristoph Rumpf: Such a lovely human with a similar design approach as Floriane. He straddles a bit on the unisex line, however our Ouimillie selections are a bit more feminine. It’s always an adventure seeing the direction of new designers in their early ages and beginning collections of the first 3 seasons.
Francesca Marchisio: An illuminary in how to make the basic or fundamental absolutely exciting. This is a brand that you don’t want to miss. We only have a small amount and want to invite you to explore her work in person. Francesca produces garments that are almost always reversible without the kitschiness of brands that make reversible clothing. Marchisio’s pieces are absolute luxury with a play on forever happiness.
