More about Ashley:
Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Ashley's formative years spent in a blue collar mining town brought upon an acute awareness of class systems, poverty and human interaction in small communities.
The themes of American landscape, animal life and portraits appear in her current work and reflect whimsical and irreverent observations.
Ashley studied Graphic Design at Luzerne County College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an Associate of Science Degree in 2011. She currently works as a freelance illustrator and painter from her studio in Lowell, Massachusetts.
In addition to her personal art, Ashley teaches a watercolor class to local Lowell students at Refuge Lowell, which started as a safe, equitable space for students to explore their talents and develop as artists through nurturing, mentorship, and rigorous arts instruction.
More about Ashley's Work:
All prints are giclées (a fancy word that means a technology for fine art reproduction using a high-quality inkjet printer to make individual copies).
Simply put, the pieces are high-quality prints of Ashley’s original. art, are printed on watercolor paper with archival ink.
In addition, all pieces are hand-signed by Ashley, so your daughter can take one on Antiques Roadshow in 150 years. ;)
