Maison Georgette is a publishing house in fabrics which was born in 2000 from the encounter of two ladies, Véronique Georgelin and Marion Lévy. Both coming from famous art school « Ecole des arts décoratifs de Paris », both slikscreen passionates. Their friendship and their common passion for fabric printing, led them to create their own linen company.
Bright colors, retro colors, imaginative drawings, superposition of patterns, their creativity has not limits. Everything is hand-made in their Parisian workshop and models are made in France in small series. Each drawing is unique and can be developed on a wide range of house objects such as cushions, sheets, towels, or any decoration object. In addition to furniture, these fabrics can also be used for the tailoring of clothing and accessories (bags, bibs etc.)
Maison Gerogette also collaborates with external partners and signs mini collections. Thus, they created a collection all inspired with stars, birds and bright colors for famous city market, Monoprix in 2012. Other collaborations include Longchamps, Nature et Découvertes or Tissage Mouret.
All fabrics are natural, mostly cotton and linen. Silkscreen is the privileged tool. And once all is fabricated, hand-made and tested in their 11th arrondissement workshop in Paris, it is then sent to the north of France for manufacturing. The big linen pieces are woven and printed in North Europe.
